Taste of Stettler

The Rotary Club of Stettler hosted their annual Taste of Stettler fundraiser last night at The Hub and we were lucky enough to attend. The event celebrates local food and drink vendors offering samples of their best dishes and sips and it is was a delicious evening. Village Brewery, Today's Sweet Cakery, Cilantro & Chive, Brenda's Cozy Cafe, Trouble Monk Brewery, Extreme Pita, Boston Pizza, Snake Lake Brewery and Tim Hortons were just a few of the vendors there for the event. I won't give out our personal favourites of the evening because everything was so wonderful but I will give you the hints that one had real, delicious icing on top (yes, it still exists!) and the other had spirit and no 'e' in it. I'm not a beer drinker but Bryan is and he really enjoyed the variety of beers available. My apologies for not getting more pictures or doing a Facebook Live Event from the venue, I forgot my phone.

If you haven't been to Taste of Stettler before watch the Rotary Club's Facebook for the next one. The tickets are very inexpensive for the amount of food, drink and great conversation you get, and as per usual with the Rotary Club all the money goes to support great causes both home and abroad. Our sincere thanks to Gwen Lee, Sutton Realty, for gifting us tickets to the event this year. - Wendy R.
